Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using IGNITE Health Systems products and services.

Acceptance of Terms

  • By accessing or using services provided by IGNITE Health Systems LLC ("IGNITE," "we," "our," or "us") through ignitehealthsystems.com, ignitehealthpartnership.com, or the Rapid Response Central iOS app (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
  • If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
  • We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting updated Terms and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.

Description of Services

  • IGNITE operates a two-domain medical platform serving healthcare professionals and patients.
  • ignitehealthsystems.com: Medical education including QBank (board-style practice questions), Knowledge Graph (curated medical articles and clinical concepts), Flashcards with spaced repetition, MEDFlow AI clinical training tool, and the Rapid Response Central mobile app (currently in beta via TestFlight).
  • ignitehealthpartnership.com: Independent practice platform including Provider Directory, DPC Cost Comparator, MEDFlow practice mode, and Patient Portal for provider discovery and cost comparison.
  • Available features depend on your subscription plan, user role (resident, attending physician, or patient), and the domain through which you access the Services.

User Accounts and Registration

  • Account creation requires accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
  • Account types: Resident Accounts (ignitehealthsystems.com) for medical residents and students; Provider Accounts (ignitehealthpartnership.com) for licensed physicians; Patient Accounts (ignitehealthpartnership.com) for individuals seeking providers and cost information.
  • You agree to immediately notify us of unauthorized account use, not share credentials, and not use another person's account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in harmful conduct.

Subscription Plans and Payments

  • Where a trial is offered, its terms are described at registration and may change at our discretion.
  • Paid features require an active subscription managed through Stripe, Inc. Plans, pricing, and features are described on our website.
  • By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges (monthly or annually). You are responsible for keeping payment information current.
  • You may cancel at any time through account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds unless required by law.

Acceptable Use

  • You agree NOT to use the Services for any unlawful purpose.
  • You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Services.
  • You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or resell any portion of the Services without express written permission.
  • You may not transmit any malware, viruses, or harmful code through the Services.
  • You may not scrape, data-mine, or use automated means to access the Services without written consent.
  • You may not share account credentials or allow multiple individuals to use a single account.
  • You may not redistribute, publish, or commercially exploit educational content (questions, articles, clinical pearls).
  • You may not misrepresent your professional credentials, licensure, or institutional affiliation.
  • You may not upload false, misleading, or fabricated clinical information.
  • Providers who claim a directory listing represent they hold a valid, unrestricted medical license and that their practice information is accurate.

Medical Disclaimer

  • THE SERVICES ARE FOR EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. NOTHING CONSTITUTES MEDICAL ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT.
  • Clinical protocols, calculators, drug dosing information, and algorithms (including in Rapid Response Central) are reference tools that supplement — not replace — clinical judgment.
  • AI-generated content may contain errors and must not be the sole basis for clinical decisions.
  • Use of the Services does not create a physician-patient relationship between you and IGNITE.

Intellectual Property

  • All content, software, algorithms, and materials are owned by or licensed to IGNITE and protected by intellectual property laws. This includes QBank questions, clinical pearls, knowledge graph articles, and all educational content.
  • You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal use (or individual clinical practice use for Provider accounts).
  • You may not modify, reverse-engineer, remove proprietary notices, or use IGNITE content to train AI models.
  • You retain ownership of content you create (study notes, bookmarks, authored flashcards) and grant IGNITE a license to store and process it to provide the Services.

Privacy

  • Your use of the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy at ignitehealthsystems.com/privacy, incorporated by reference.
  • For features involving protected health information (PHI), our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices also applies.

Third-Party Services

  • The Services integrate with third-party services including Supabase (authentication), Stripe (payments), and Cloudflare (hosting). Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms.
  • We are not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of third-party services.

Disclaimers

  • THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service and may modify or discontinue features at any time.
  • While we strive for accuracy, medical content may not be complete, current, or error-free.

Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IGNITE Health Systems LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.

Modifications to Terms

  • We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted and the "Last updated" date will be updated.
  • Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
  • If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Services.

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL IGNITE HEALTH SYSTEMS LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100.

Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules.
  • Class action waiver: disputes shall be conducted only on an individual basis — you may not bring claims as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.
  • Exception: either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights.

Account Deletion

  • You may request deletion of your account at any time from your Profile page or by contacting support at [email protected].
  • Account deletion includes a 7-day grace period before your data is permanently deleted.
  • Upon permanent deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our data retention policies and applicable law.
